Dan Horne has over 25 years experience and has serviced over 20,000 hours in personal training and human body movement. His mission is to reach out to people who really want to commit to a healthier lifestyle. He personally understands how aging affects the body and his mission is to help other Baby Boomers achieve increased mobility and stability through strength training. He specializes in core exercises to promote better posture.
Exercise is medicine, is Dan’s philosophy. He believes that it has healing properties for the mind, body, and spirit. Educating his clients on how to live a life that encompasses mental AND physical health is his passion. He works with his clients to develop a customized nutritional and fitness program that is designed to reduce body fat while increasing core strength, posture, and stamina.
Dan got into health and fitness at age 30. An age that most would consider late in life. He found that working out improved his physical appearance, as well as his mood…he was hooked. He began to train for bodybuilding competitions and competed in his first fitness contest at age 41. He took the top prize at the Caveman bodybuilding contest.
As a father and grandfather, Dan loves spending time with his family. He also enjoys sports and hanging out with his APC Fit family.
